What is boric acid and how does it work?

Boric acid is a natural compound found in seawater and mineral-rich deposits in the earth. It is clinically proven to help to promote a healthy vaginal pH and support the relief of unpleasant symptoms associated with vaginal yeast infections.

  • It inhibits the fungal cells' oxidative metabolism
  • This hinders the ability of Candida strains to generate energy and carry out vital cellular functions
  • It also disrupts hyphae transformation and inhibits the development of biofilms
  • This effectively hinders the ability of Candida strains to cause infections and establish themselves in the host
