Ferosom Forte Capsules
How often should my patients take the capsules?
Only one capsule daily is needed for optimal iron maintenance and/or treatment of iron deficiency anemia, however, everyone’s iron needs are unique. Patients should consult with a healthcare practitioner to discuss their iron needs before starting any new supplement.
What do the capsules taste like?
Ferosom Forte capsules are tasteless. There is no harsh metallic taste like some other iron supplements.
What are the medicinal and non-medicinal ingredients in the capsules?
Medicinal Ingredients (per capsule):
Elemental Iron (Ferric pyrophosphate microencapsulated LCE Liposomal™ form) – 30 mg
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) – 70 mg
Non-Medicinal Ingredients:
Hyprolose, lecithin, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pullulan, silicon dioxide, starch-maize.
