Clinical studies
01
In a pilot study, oral sucrosomial iron was shown to have similar absorption as IV iron.
30 mg
of oral sucrosomial iron had a similar absorption rate as 125 mg IV iron (ferric gluconate) after 12 weeks in patients with chemotherapy-induced anemia.1
02
In a clinical study, liposomal iron was shown to be effective at increasing iron levels.
8 weeks
of daily supplementation with microencapsulated liposomal iron significantly increased Haemoglobin levels to 12.77 g/dl and Haematocrit levels to 38.95 g/dl.2
03
In a randomized clinical trial, it was found that liposomal iron is safe and well tolerated.
3.1%
of patients taking oral liposomal iron experienced adverse effects compared to 30% of patients with non-liposomal iron.3
